Day 1: Arrival in Barcelona

Hola from Barcelona,

Since leaving Memphis, we have been awake for over 30 hours. According to Sydney, our bodies have been so tired that we haven’t even had energy to laugh! We met up with one of our groups who is from Massachusetts. After greeting each other at the airport, we headed to the hotel to change clothes and go to the city. We got on the subway and went to Plaza Real, Boulevard Las Ramblas, Cathedral de Barcelona, the Roman Columns, and St. Joseph’s Food Market. We tried some cool authentic foods and walked over 8 miles! Tomorrow, we are planning on waking up bright and early to head another day exploring Barcelona!
